We go beyond traditional therapy support by including co-treatments and direct collaboration with schools, daycare, and other providers. We offer home visits, observations in the schools, regular parent meetings, and additional resources.
Children, like adults, can struggle with processing their emotions and communicating their needs. Our mental health services focus on interactions and experiences that help children feel safe, comfortable, and understood through play. From this foundation they can learn skills, resolve underlying conflict, and process feelings.
Occupational therapists work with children and their families to assist in physical and sensory functioning as well as successful participation in home, education, and community settings. Occupational therapy promotes development, regulation, and growth through play. After all, play is the primary job of children.
Parent’s need support too! A child’s success and well-being are significantly influenced by the quality of their relationships with parents, siblings, and other caregivers. Parents can learn by observing or participating in ongoing sessions. Therapists can coach, mentor, and regularly meet with parents individually. Our staff provide support, education, strategies, and understanding to help your family be happy, healthy, and successful.

If you are interested in our services, please contact us directly at 773 739 6887. Occupational therapy will require a prescription from your doctor, which parents can request. Counseling services do not require a prescription and begin with a parent-only meeting with a therapist.
Frequency is customized for each family, but most common is 1 to 2 times per week. Duration varies. We often see the greatest progress when parents or caregivers are actively involved in the therapeutic process.
